The Parker Jotter: The Writing Utensil of a Dapper Chapper

By Alex Noble Thursday 7th Dec, 2017

Chaps, I’d like you to cast your minds back to a time when Christmas cards used to flood through your letterbox, and decorate your walls throughout December. The days when people actually took the time to write Christmas cards, instead of leaving a social media post or paying a card website to do the work for them.

Let’s face it, we’re getting lazy. Can you imagine if Santa threw presents over the garden fence instead of squeezing down the chimney and placing them under the tree?

As you’ve probably guessed, I’m a Christmas traditionalist I.e. I write (not type) my Christmas list and prefer the original Band Aid to the jazzed up 05′ version.

Anyway, I digress.

Chaps, I’d like to introduce Parker Pens amazing Jotter collection. These fantastic products, inspired by the brand’s British heritage, are appropriately named after famous London landmarks: Bond Street Black, Waterloo Blue etc.

The collection is described as an entry point into the world of fine writing utensils, and I’d certainly be inclined to say this premium ballpoint number is ideal for the modern day gent.

They’re looking to inspire a new generation to put pen to paper and embrace the analogue world. After all, the old ways are sometimes the best!

Many of the great innovators of modern times, began by jotting down ideas on the back of napkins or scrap pieces of paper; you name it, they wrote on it. Of course, us chaps like to think we’ve a little more about us, thus a personalised diary may be slightly more fitting to house our plans of global takeover.

So, I dare you to close ‘notes’ on your smartphone, familiarise yourself with a ‘Parker Jotter’ and adorn your diary with balanced pen strokes and world-beating ideas.
