Dolce&Gabbana Light Blue Italian Zest Review

By Adam Tuesday 7th Aug, 2018

With the sun still shining across the U.K, there’s been no better time to have our latest summer fragrance on a review!

This one has been sent over by Dolce&Gabbana who, this summer, has added to the cult Light Blue collection.

At this point, I think it’s best for all of us if I take a moment to remind us about Bianca Balti and Mr. Gandy on the Italian Riviera from the infamous Light Blue ad…

Now, back to the new fragrance review. Dolce&Gabbana have added a fresh twist to Light Blue and last month released Light Blue Italian Zest Pour Homme.

First impressions are good. The vibrant packaging is inspired by sunny summer day’s in Capri, with a sky-blue box and retro designs.

The bottle is minimalistic in its design with emphasis on yellow and blue and interacts really well with sunlight, as you can see here:

When it comes to the scent, Italian scorza di limone (lemon zest) is the key feature. An overdose of fresh bergamot and citrus dominate the scent with grapefruit, pepper and oak notes subtly coming through after.

While the sun continues to shine in London this will remain my go-to fragrance and is perfect for anywhere with golden beaches or blue waters.

Light Blue Italian Zest Pour Homme is £51 for 75ml
