Turnbull and Asser Reimagined Davies Street Store

By Adam Friday 23rd Jul, 2021

Historical British shirtmaker Turnbull and Asser have reimagined their Davies Street store to create a brand new, dedicated gallery space. In a collaborative effort between Creative Director Becky French, and concept architect and artefact buyer Nicholas Chandor, ‘The Room’ brings together and celebrates intriguing objects by modern craftspeople alongside Turnbull and Asser’s extensive archives. Set across 2 floors in the heart of Mayfair, this is a first for the brand in its 135 year storied history.

The gallery-inspired space will hold a rotating collection of artworks and furniture for sale and host bespoke appointments for men and women in the newly renovated, light-filled shop. Following the galleries debut collection of ceramics by British artist Carl Koch, Turnbull and Chandor have chosen furniture designer Fred Baier to showcase their colourful, avant-garde collection for The Room’s summer exhibition to be held from 1st August – 21st-August 2021 with more on the way.
