Crystal Maze Experience London

10-14 White Lion Street, Angel, London, N1 9PD

A few weeks back I received a press invite to take on the Crystal Maze Experience in London. It goes without saying I confirmed my space within minutes with the aim to chip away at the bucket list.

We went to the London experience which is the original site and just down the road from Angel underground station. Hopefully I don’t need to explain the concept of The Crystal Maze and for those of you familiar with it, I can confirm that the experience is pretty authentic to the TV show.

As contestants did on the original show, we travelled through the four original zones of Industrial, Future, Medieval and Aztec taking on as a team a combination of physical, mental, skill & mystery challenges.

I won’t spoil it for you by going into too much detail about the specific games but I can promise that if you go with a group of friends you are guaranteed to have fun.

I managed to collect three of our teams seven Crystal’s after coming good in my two physical challenges and a mental challenge. This put us in good stead for the grand finale in the dome where we worked furiously to collect as many gold notes in in the 35 seconds we had earned earlier in the day.

Worth mentioning the maze guides make the experience what it is. They are full of character and deliver a well-timed comedic guide through the day.

Tickets are sold out until April 2017 but new spaces have just gone on sale for April-June 2017, for £63pp – book here
