Where to Watch the Rugby in London

By Adam Monday 19th Oct, 2015

The home nations may have all taken an early exit in the Rugby World Cup, but there’s still a lot of rugby to be played.

If you weren’t one of the lucky few to get tickets to the semis or final and are now looking for some more atmosphere than your front room, fear not, we have the solution.

Rugby on the Green Powered by Maserati, where pocket squares are welcome, will recreate the atmosphere of front-row “box office” seats in the glamorous open-air surroundings of SW6. Next weekend tickets are available for both semi-final matches on Parsons Green with the final being held at the beautiful surrounding of the Private Walled Gardens at Fulham Palace Gardens.

Guests will be provided with an abundance of premium festivities, heart-pounding sport action, international gourmet food and live entertainment.

As any Dapper Chapper would expect, the Dress Code is smart, jacket or blazer for the gents and Glitz and Glamour for the ladies.

The Dapper Chapper was there in person for the final weekend of the Group stages and can certainly recommend this as the most exciting and exclusive place you’ll find in London to watch the rest of the Rugby World Cup. Indeed below you can see myself and style writer Mr F. Barecca enjoying our evening at Rugby on the Green, casually being photo bombed by a certain Peter Crouch.

If you buy VIP tickets you can certainly expect to see footballers, celebs, half of the MadeInChelsea crew and other SW socialites.

To get a full idea of what you can expect from Rugby on the Green check out this event video, from the group stages:

The two Semi Finals will be held at Parson’s Green, replicating the event set up from the Group stages. However, it is the Final that we are most excited about here at Dapper Chapper HQ, as it is set to be hosted in the private walled gardens of Fulham Palace Gardens – a real Dapper venue.

So despite the lack of Home Nations in the final 4, after Scotland were robbed by Mr Joubert on Sunday, get yourself down to Parson’s Green or Fulham Palace gardens to soak up the last of the home world cup.

The event is strictly 21+ and the three remaining dates are:

  • 24th October – South Africa vs. New Zealand (Parsons Green)
  • 25th October – Argentina vs. Australia (Parsons Green)
  • 31st October – World Cup Final (Fulham Palace Gardens)
