Belstaff embraced its accustomed spirit of adventure for the AW16 “Heading North” collection. The collection drew inspiration from cold adventure motorcycle riding and featured pieces that were designed to handle the Arctic’s brutal environment in comfort and style.

The collection took note of the dynamic conditions experienced by the adventurers, shown through a strong emphasis on adaptability throughout the apparel. This focus not only made the collection ready for an alpine exploration, but also perfectly suited to the unpredictable weather patterns of British Winter.

A Dapper Chapper favourite came in the form of camouflaged Arctic duck-down parka that featuring impeccable attention to detail with a fur-trimmed hood, internal snow skirt and rib storm cuffs. Another highlight was the use tasteful of shearing and leather to create a plush take on the aviator jacket perfect for the colder months.

The collection also featured a winterised interpretation of a classic Speedmaster jacket complete with detachable shearing collar. Belstaff also introduced an AW accessories collection for the first time perfect winter commuting. The six styles of bags demonstrated a focus on functionality, evident in the use of durable and resistant materials such as tough textured nylon and treated waxy leathers.
