Baartmans & Siegel LCM AW16

London-based design duo, Baartmans & Siegel, embraced America’s ‘Great Awakening’ era of the 1970’s.  Their AW16 collection took heavy inspiration from the flamboyant attrite of Spanish Harlem and the infamous Studio 56 nightclub’s regulars.

A palette synonymous with the swagger of the 70s was evident, with camel and caramel brown tones complemented by grey pinstriped numbers.

Fur was prevalent throughout the collection with leopard-print rabbit fur lined bombers and duffle jackets with plush fur lined hoods drawing attention.

A Dapper Chapper favourite from the collection was the luxurious camel cashmere trench coat complete with ostentatious long haired collar.
