The Men’s Spring Summer 2016 collection explores the concept of the great British explorer. British explorers are ingrained in British history and culture; they are motivated by the great desire for discovery. Notably Lawrence of Arabia in the 1930s and in the present day Levison Wood (Walking the Nile). The presentation showcased this strong collection in the most fitting of venues; Old Billingsgate Market was dressed as an Arabian desert, which looked breathtaking.
Frederik Dyhr, VP Men’s Design, says, “It’s an exploratory collection that injects technical innovation and contemporary fabrications into Belstaff’s iconic silhouettes, evolving elements of military and heritage gear for a modern Belstaff identity.”
