It’s no coincidence that January’s mass pilgrimage back to the gym has coincided with the unveiling of M&S’s latest range of Autograph loungewear, designed in collaboration with male supermodel and fitness icon David Gandy.
Hot on the trail of the successful underwear and swimwear ranges also co-developed alongside the man himself, the new five-piece collection has been designed for pre and post-workout lounging with prices kicking off at a reasonable £22.50 for a T-shirt, rising to £39.50 for a hooded jumper.

Should you wish to come out of hibernation this winter (i.e. answer the door or nip to the shops to stock up on kale), the new range is just that little bit smarter than your average downtime attire; the new hoodie or jumper would be a useful extra outer layer to have in the gym bag too.
Aimed squarely at the modern gentleman, you can expect these latest offerings to bring M&S trademarks of good quality fabrics and attractive detailing with a dash of normcore style.
Clearly a man with an eye for the details, DG comments “the new styles have been designed in premium fabrics, with flattering cuts, and with traditional sports detailing such as engineered seams, adding style to essential wardrobe items.”

So if you’re embarking on a new fitness regime this January, having a decent set of loungewear to slip into after a tough gym session could be just the motivation to finish off that last set or a bit of comfort on a bleak winter evening.
