LC:M SS16 – Chester Barrie

By Gary Dennis Friday 19th Jun, 2015

One of the most glamorous venues that Dapper Chapper had the courtesy to attend over this week’s LC:M was the newly reopen upstairs bar in The Ivy. Here, Saville Row brand Chester Barrie were showcasing their SS16 collection and we have to say the venue was befitting of the pieces that were on display. The Dapper Chapper also got a chance to catch up with LC:M ambassador and radio presenter, Dermot O’Leary to talk about the collection and all things fashion.

Chester Barrie has used several distinguishable materials and cloths for each of the different items on show. Fabrics such a baby alpaca with kid mohair and seersucker blended with silk combined with a summer palette of ink blue, soft pink, jade and stone to contrast against the more classical shades of blues and greys. There are weekend sports coats fashioned in blends of linen, silk, mohair and wool. Business suits in wool with glen checks, windowpane birdseye’s and bold stripes and also evening suits offered in bright navy, midnight blue and black.
