LFWM: Harrys of London’s AW17 Collection

After shooting the Mr Jones Double Monk Suede Sneakers last month for our Instagram and the blog, we were excited to see what Harrys of London had to offer for AW17.

The theme was sporty-futuristic which was backed up throughout the collection by the introduction of metallics and fabrics inspired by technology.

The shoes are built for the modern man but this brand combines comfort and style well. AW17 sees a 3D innersole developed in partnership with Technogel® and these innersoles are a revelation in comfort.

So, onto the shoes, the EDWARD loafer launched for SS17 is back for AW17 with a collapsible back, a formal loafer can now also be worn as a slipper.

New on the line for contemporary dress is the fringed GABRIEL loafer, a dandy style.

Boots have a strong presence within the season collection. The GUY lace-up boot is back with a rubber injected leather sole. JOSHUA is a new introduction for the season, a contemporary desert boot style.

This is also an exciting time for sneakers at Harrys of London. The brand introduces three new sneaker styles. The launch of the new BOLT sneaker, inspired by the iconic Mr Jones last but with a new contemporary upper, the name is literally derived from the bolt of colour that runs through the body and sole of the sneaker.

The GALAXY sneaker range is a new futuristic upper design that is based on the Mr Jones, this sneaker is available in a range of metallic leather finishes giving rise to the full GALAXY family of shoes. In addition to the low top the GALAXY sneaker is also available as a high-top option.

For AW17 the brand’s popular Mr Jones sneaker and Ethan Jones slip-on sneaker arrive in a seasonal selection of finishes, including BOLT detailing, OPTIC woven fabrics, MESH TECH, and a fun novelty all-over SLOW DOWN print – a fun tongue-in-cheek statement to our fast paced lifestyles. The SLOW DOWN print is also featured on a new accessories capsule, including the SKYDIVES backpack, small leather goods and belts.

The brand also had a full accessory offering on display with the star of the show being their best-selling bag, the EATON. An ideal everyday business bag and a complementary travel partner for the Tech leather trolley.

Harrys of London is a brand worth getting on board with now!
