Having enjoyed the staple summer pieces that emerged from one of favourite Italian knitwear brands, Luca Faloni, we were anticipating the next wave designed for the colder month –  were layering is key and being able to go about ones’ business in comfort imperative.
In fact, the latest edit realised by Faloni explores and is inspired by the enigmatic Italian architect Carlo Scarpa, if you’ve ever heard of him, look him up, it’s well worth it. It’s fresh to see the stories and motivation attached to products delivered this way, it’s informative and adds to the excitement of seeing the garments.
Scarpa, who lived and worked in the Veneto region of Italy, was renowned for using methods of combining essentialist architectural geometry with handcrafted detailing, mirroring the craftsmanship we have become so accustomed to at Luca Faloni. With his work guiding many contemporary architects globally ever since, Scarpa was also a professor of Interior Decoration at Istituto Universitario Di Architecture Di Venezia.
This latest capsule includes knitwear including the Desert Rose crew-neck cable knit, Hunting Green zip cardigan and the Dolomite Grey hoodie.
