This Spring Summer season sees New & Lingwood reestablish itself as one of the London’s most established outfitters. Founded in 1865, the brand supplies all the necessities a modern gentleman would need. This year also marks the brands 150 anniversary.
This season collection includes bold stripes, pastel colour palettes and soft tailoring. These all sit aside the classic suiting and rich heritage.
We also see a continued use of the finest yarns and fabrics, knitwear rendered from both superlight silk and premium merchandised cotton. Shirts are made from two-fold 100s yarns or finer.
Jacketing this season is significant to the collection, with focus on the deconstructed blazer. The extensive work the brand has done to reinvent the garment has lead to new silhouettes. Director, Simon Maloney, says, “The garment remains sharp and elegant but is lighter and perfect for travel. The most critical part of the garment, apart from its fit, is the shoulder line which should be smooth and show no pucker,”.
Hero-pieces include the herringbone Ferguson single breasted and double breasted jackets, Regatta Stripe Hamilton, Prince of Wales Haviland jersey jacket and suede safari shirt jacket.
Pricing starts from £95 for a tie to £895 for suits. Available now.
