ohw? (pronounced who?) is a new brand to the Dapper Chapper, the brands quirky details and premium quality really stand out from the crowd. The brand was launched in 2012 by two footwear professionals who strive for quality, design and brand integrity. For Autumn/Winter it has introduced a new range of more directional, sneaker inspired silhouettes to add to the existing classic collection.
With Reflection ohw? looks to the luxury sneaker market, the exaggerated soles being the most obvious influence. Three boot and two shoe designs make the collection – Thorn4, Kitch, Gibson, Freddy and Burns. Details include ghillie laces, padded tongues and internal wool and leather socks. The materials focus on grain leathers and wool in a predominately monochrome colour palette with autumnal accents.
ohw? has strengthened its core range with the addition of two ranges – Traveller and Relax. Traveller has a sports-inspired sole unit with an aggressive tread. Relax is ohw’s most understated range, for those who prefer subtle details.
Review – Burns
I have been wearing popular style Burns for the past few weeks, the shoe features an exaggerated sneaker inspired sole with premium details such as the leather sock. I found the shoe extremely comfortable. I also love the mix of premium materials and design details. The shoe is perfect for both smart and formal looks. I would also advise going half a size smaller for a slightly better fit.
