Richard James Mayfair Spring Summer ’16 Look Book

City life is back in full swing as we hurtle into February, and along with the optimistic green shoots of spring we also have Richard James’s Mayfair Spring Summer ’16 Look Book to pore over.

In keeping with RJ’s bold design philosophy, a palette of cool hues – strong blues but also heritage colours including teal and muted greys – are applied to contemporary silhouettes for an elegant but distinctive boardroom look.

Those with an eye for texture and detail will welcome the use of mohair tonic, Prince of Wales checks and horn buttons, all of which add a welcome dash of individuality and make the range an equally appealing option during leisure hours.

The best example of this is the muted grey jacket. A perfect summer option twinned with light blue chinos and suede brogues – a DC highlight.

Overall, the SS16 collection is a diverse range of suiting for working hard and playing hard afterwards, just in time for longer days and lighter nights.

Prices start at £450 for a full suit and jackets in Italian cloth retail from £300.
