Thom Sweeney Opens New Townhouse in Mayfair

Thom Sweeney has opened its new tailoring townhouse, situated on Old Burlington Street, in the heart of London’s Mayfair. The four storey townhouse will bring Thom Sweeney’s two existing West End stores under one roof.

With a bespoke tailoring workshop, fitting rooms, made-to-measure lounge and ready-to-wear collection on show, plus a cocktail bar and barber’s shop, the 3,100 sq ft store promises to bring an elevated new retail experience for any Dapper Chapper to the West End.

Customers will enter through the townhouse’s grand frontage into a showroom dedicated to Thom Sweeney’s ready-to-wear collection; with tailoring, casualwear, shirts and knitwear on display. A custom-built pool table and a drink’s bar will enable this floor to transform easily into an event space when required.

At the top of the townhouse’s staircase, lined with artworks curated by neighbouring Mayfair galleries, the third floor will be a lounge area for customers to socialise and feel at ease.

The shared courtyard with Buck’s Club, the iconic Mayfair member’s club, will also be accessible from the ground floor. The first floor will showcase more of the ready-to-wear collection, and offer a consultation space for Bespoke and Made-To-Measure customers, with elegant mid-century furnishings, custom Thom Sweeney mannequins and galvanised clothing rails lining the space.
