Botanist Gin

Q: When Isn’t it Gin O’Clock?

A: Never

Yes, Yes, I know, one must endorse the concept of responsible drinking but whatever happened to the good old saying of, ‘It’s 5 O’Clock somewhere?’

Anyway, the point I’m trying to stress is that for most of us chaps, a gin & tonic seems like a good idea 99% of the time. Saying that I’m not talking about a triple measure of ghastly gin and a glug of cheap Tonic water; Oh no! I’m talking about a proper drink, made from quality gin, premium tonic, and the correct garnish.

A recent addition to the Dapper Chapper bar is Botanist Gin. It’s Islay’s first and only dry gin and is handcrafted and distilled on the remote Scottish Island. It’s a truly unique gin that positively represents the island’s progressive heritage, and more to the point, it tastes fantastic.

What makes that epic flavour?

Well, nine classic gin botanicals are augmented by 22 local herbs and flowers, all foraged responsibly by hand from the hills, shores, and bogs of the Hebridean Island by botanical scientists. Once foraged, they’re slowly simmered and distilled in their unique Lomond pot-still, affectionately known as “Ugly Betty”. The result of the distilling is a highly distinctive, complex, floral gin with an outstanding finish and impeccable provenance.

The gin is a rare expression of the heart and soul of their remote Scottish island home and provides a true taste of their roots.

So, whatever the time, weather, location or company, you can always rely on a G&T to enhance the situation; and we believe you can always rely on Botanist Gin to deliver.

DC Top Tip: Garnish with a Rosemary sprig for the ultimate flavour.

Cheers, Chaps!
