Bunga Bunga
Every Dapper Chapper needs to properly let their hair down every once in a while, and we have found just the place to do that.
We had booked our table for quite early and when we arrive at Bunga Bunga the restaurant was quiet and subdued and seemed very relaxed. However as we started to take in our surrounding with the tongue in cheek décor and the tray of drinks with Sparklers and confetti cannons that was heading towards our table, we knew our night was about to go in a different direction.
The cocktail list is great fun especially the Icone and it’s hard to choose. We decided to go for some Aperol Spritz and Spritzed up our table which meant we got a bottle of Aperol, 2 bottles of prosecco, soda water and orange wedges. That should get our night started!
This is a great place to visit if you are hungry, which we most certainly were, so we kicked things off with the Bunga Belter to start. I am not sure I have ever seen so much food on one platter.
After our super-sized starter, there wasn’t room for much else but we couldn’t leave without sampling some of their pizza. We went for the Italy’s Fun-guy and Ruby Loves, both of which were delicious.
As the restaurant gets busier the atmosphere really ramps up and it becomes much more like a party. The Entertainment is a large part of its appeal, with a magician visiting tables as people eat and even the waiters and bar staff can be found dancing on the bar and tables. As the clock strikes 10 and the drinks are still flowing, a menu of songs are distributed and the Karaoke is cracked out. It is a great way to end the night on a high.
Bunga Bunga does not try to be too cool they only want you to enjoy yourself and have fun, and we can confirm that we most certainly did!
