It may not feel like it, but the summer months are just around the corner, where we will be readying ourselves for a summer wardrobe and the all-important, vital swimwear choices.

Not recognised as the most common destination for summer garments, Swiss based Andrew & Cole is a cool new swimwear and resort brand we stumbled across at Pitti last year and one that has been built on the foundations of a childhood partly growing up by the sea, combined with a love for fashion and style. This linked to a flexibility in wearability where garments can be as easily worn for a quick swim and then once dry teamed with a T-shirt for lunch in the nearest beach bar or cafe.

“ I spend half of my life near, on or in the water, at the beach and in warm destinations,” says founder Vincent Stadelhofer. “I mostly wear resort and casual wear but still elegant. It’s a part of me, so it’s the brand. “The purpose is to create a stylish, refined collection that cares for our future with the highest quality possible; at an accessible price and for everyone and every generation.”
