Barbour International celebrates the ‘The Badge of an Original’ in its Spring Summer presentation.
The new Barbour Originals and Sports collections focus on bold motorcycle inspired colours of black, white and yellow alongside primary colours of red, green and blue. Biker style jackets in a rugged casual construction take centre stage alongside, tonal hoodies, sweats and track pants. The presentation room was decked out in these colours to enhance this experience.
The traditional Originals collection combine effortlessly with the athleisure Sport collection, something I was worried about initially. The brand seems to be moving forward and discovering a new younger audience while not alienating the die-hard Barbour fans.
For the first time Barbour showcased a collection of cup sole, runners and low-profile sneakers with a clean aesthetic.
Paul Wilkinson, Global Marketing and Commercial Director, Barbour International says, “It is really exciting to showcase Barbour International at this season’s London Fashion Week Men’s. The brand has come a long way since 1936 when Duncan Barbour introduced the first motorcycling suit yet it has stayed true to its biking heritage. The distinctive Barbour International black and yellow badge signifies a brand that is authentic, real and truly original.”
