Seven layer

We were first introduced to SEVEN LAYER at the beginning of 2020 and have since waxed lyrical about the MTP Collection which we published back in April.

Now with their flagship shop open in Alderley Edge, Cheshire and with the new product in free-flow, we had to show you the latest jacket which is perfect for the summer and showcases the brands clever evolution.

As with the inaugural ORIGIN collection and latterly MTP, this latest outerwear piece is inspired by the US ARMY fatigue shirt and called the ‘Reconnaissance Jacket’. Designed with today’s modernist consumer in mind and crafted from an ECO textile that is light in weight, durable and presented in an abrasive resistant nylon fabric, the Reconnaissance fabric itself is treated with 7L Anti-Drop agent which helps to repel light showers and its molecular structure creates windproof and water resistant properties. Job done.

However, what we love the most is the military delivery but in a pastel colour which just completely elevates the attractiveness of the piece. Perfect to wear with shorts, denim or workwear chinos and light enough to wear over a simple T-shirt when out with your mates in the evening.

Priced at £175 the Reconnaissance jacket comes complete with adjustable draw hem and concealed snap cuff as well as large patch and flap pockets and side hand pocket entry.
