Acqua di Parma Vaniglia Eau de Parfum Review
Acqua di Parma is perhaps our most featured grooming brand and that’s for good reason; they rarely miss the mark. Based on what we’ve sampled from their recent Signatures of the Sun collection, they’ve hit all the right notes again.
If you enjoy premium Vanilla-dominant fragrances like Tom Ford Tobacco Vanilla or Jo Malone Vanilla & Anise then keep reading.
As you’d expect (Madagascan) Vanilla is the dominant note. Bergamot, Mandarin Orange & Neroli support along with Heliotrope – which I admit I had to google to find out it is a sweet purple flower.
Jasmine Sambac and Vanilla are at the heart of the fragrance with Cedar and Musk making up the base notes.
The scent will last throughout the day and like most vanilla-led scents, it will react differently for different people.
The Signatures of the Sun collection branding and bottling is fairly effortless. Stylish golden-yellow print perfectly stands out on the black bottling proving there is no need to overcomplicate it.
It falls into the premium pricing bracket of £197-£242 but comfortably competes with its competitors in this range.
One month in, we can confidently say this is the best fragrance discovery for 2020 so far.
