Monroe Cologne No.4

I’m a big fan of products with a dual purpose; products that look great, and make our lives a bit easier and more enjoyable, but I haven’t yet considered how this approach might improve my grooming routine.

When the going gets hectic, it’s easy to put off the simple things that keep our skin looking fresh but it needn’t be hard work. With temperatures dropping and Christmas around the corner, it may well be time to stock up for some skincare TLC for the party season and beyond.

I was intrigued to try Cologne No.4 by Monroe. Monroe works with the Harley Street Skin Clinic to design products which also promote skin health. Since launching, the brand has received a number of awards for its products which aim to hydrate and feed the skin.

First impressions are good. Cologne No.4 will definitely look smart on the bathroom shelf in its frosted glass bottle. The signature scent contains citrus notes of lime, mandarin and bergamot with fresh tones of basil, jasmine and green tea, giving it a pleasant natural, botanic aura. The scent is bold and lasts but doesn’t overpower.

As a gift, it’s sure to be well received and worthy of the Christmas lists of the most dapper of chaps.

Cologne No.4 is available at a reasonably priced £70 for 100ml, or £30 for 30ml and can be purchased via the Monroe Online Store or Harvey Nichols.
