L’Occitane En Provence Shea Butter Hand Cream
It’s safe to say that in the world of men’s grooming, changes have been coming thick and fast for the last decade. We’ve undergone (and are still experiencing) a revolution whereby an increasing number of gents are showing more care towards their facial grooming and skincare.
First came the wave of hair products, followed by facial moisturisers, oils and balms, often specifically for facial hair and now we find ourselves in an environment where chaps are openly having conversations about what hand or eye cream they use; and we think it’s fantastic.
Since we’re on the topic, our favourite hand-cream is the iconic L’Occitane En Provence’s Shea Butter Hand Cream. You may think iconic is a weird word to use in association with a hand cream but I’ll have you know, a tube is sold around the world every three seconds…
Given the heritage of this brand within the skincare market, It’ll likely come as no surprise that this is an almost unrivalled product but to reinforce the point, it’s so good, the chaps at DCHQ genuinely form an orderly queue to use the product and soothe their hands.
‘Each tube is enriched with 20% Shea Butter, as well as a blend of almond, honey, and coconut oil for added nourishment.’
One thing I really liked about this cream is it’s rapid absorption into the skin, meaning you’re left with smooth hands but without the oily after-effect. What’s more, the aromas of Jasmine and ylang-ylang run throughout the cream meaning your hands are also left smelling epic.
So chaps, if you’re a hand-cream user, or a willing convert, this is the one for you. £21 at Loccitane
