Cult Eyewear: The London Frames

By Adam Wednesday 26th Apr, 2017

I already have an affinity to Cult Eyewear who were the first brand to ask us to test out their specs. At that point we had a few hundred followers and the blog was very young. Last week we were announced as the U.K’s Best Lifestyle Blog at the 2017 UK Blog Awards so the timing feels apt that we’re now covering the new frames.

They are the brand behind my tortoise shell rounded pair which I use in the majority of shoots and get asked about a lot. Although their collection isn’t huge, with just a handful of frames, the new London frames are really cool and have been added to my roster of specs.

Inspired by Michael Caine, the London is perfectly vintage, with its unique shape drenched in 1960’s Mod sophistication.

It’s available in several hand-selected colours, but the ones we like use the traditional horn pattern with Olive Green as the main colour. Streaks and Marbling gives a nod to the era of inspiration whilst making them stand out from the crowd.

Detailing including dimpled temples grips and 7-barrel riveted hinges confirm the quality of production.
