MOSCOT Fall/Winter 2016 Collection

Recently you may have seen me talk about my new love on social media. The love comes in the form of my new specs, by MOSCOT Originals:

I picked them up from the very cool store on Beak Street (which is the one just at the end of Carnaby Street), which is basically a haven for anyone looking for a pair of unique glasses with personality and after some serious specspiration!

All MOSCOT eyewear is handmade using the highest quality materials, real hardware, and hinges that are riveted through the temple and frame fronts to ensure the sturdiest construction possible. Every MOSCOT frame is available as ophthalmic eyewear or sunglasses, with or without a prescription, and is customizable in a variety of frame and lens color combinations and sizes.

Now is a good time to check out the brand because they’ve just released the Fall/Winter 2016 Collection, which on top of the current offering includes five new MOSCOT Originals and three new MOSCOT Spirits frames.

The new Original’s include:

The BRUDE: A round-square shape, and easy good looks, but is made from a metal acetate combination, and is rivet-free. First seen on brudes, dudes, and sisters in the 1960s, hence the name, it features lovely detailed engraving on its bridge and temples.

The combination metal acetate frame has no exposed hardware on the frame front, detailed metal skiving on the bridge and temples, and real three barrel hinges. The Sunglasses also have real glass lenses.

The GROYSE: Big on style, big on character. With its soft round shape, raw gold color, and a bridge that sits high, and features retro, flat beveled edges, The GROYSE is 1970s all the way. Can you dig?

Made from metal with flat beveled edges on the bridge, Silicon nose pads, and real three barrel hinges. Sunglasses have real glass lenses.

Available in Raw Gold. Sunglasses are available in Raw Gold with Cosmitan Brown Lenses.

The KIBITS: Made from metal featuring detailed filigree, and Silicon nose pads. Sunglasses also have real glass lenses.

Available in Gold, Silver, and Tortoise/Antique Gold, in sizes 49 and 51. Sunglasses only available in size 51, in Gold with G-15 Lenses, and Silver with Calibar Green Lenses.

The KLUG: With detailed skiving on its bridge and temples, and a sophisticated, rectangular design, you’d be smart to don the metal acetate KLUG, and bonus… you’ll look smarter wearing it too.

The SCHLEP: With its big square shape, added height, and gold Clip-on with top bar, The SCHLEP is so good looking, and looks so hot on, people will be lining up to schlep your sh… stuff.

Combination metal acetate frame with square-shaped, Windsor Rim-inspired eyewire, acetate temples, and Silicon nose pads. Sunglasses have real glass lenses, and Gold Clip-on available in certain sizes.

Available in Black/Gunmetal, Blonde/Gold, and Tortoise/Gold, in sizes 50 and 53. Sunglasses available in Black/Gunmetal with G-15 Lenses, in Blonde/Gold with G-15 Lenses, and Tortoise/Gold with G-15 Lenses.

The NOAH: Made from acetate with two dot rivets on the front and temples, a saddle bridge, real three barrel hinges, and signature end caps.

Available in Black, Dark Blonde, and Mist in sizes 47 and 50. Sunglasses only available in size 50, in Black with Grey Lenses, and Mist with Green Lenses.

The TESS: One for the ladies, with its subtle lift and tailored sophistication, The TESS radiates a natural, understated sexiness that will boost your confidence and give you a little extra pep in your (high-heeled) step.

Made from acetate with two dot rivets, a saddle bridge, real five barrel hinges, and signature end caps.

Available in Brown Ash, Classic Havana, and Olive/Tortoise in size 52. Sunglasses only available in Classic Havana with Brown Lenses.

The TRAVIS: Tall, thin, square, and commanding, and really makes a statement… a fashion statement.

Made from acetate with two dot rivets on the front and temples, a saddle bridge, real five barrel hinges, and signature end caps.
