With every passing Christmas, the competition to create unique and eye catching advent calendars seemingly intensifies. This year however, St James’, the original home of menswear in London, has taken this festive ritual to another level. Throughout December, The Pavilion in St James’s Market has been transformed into a giant advent calendar, each window concealing a unique gift, to be revealed and won each day.
The festive scene has been created by illustrator Daniel Clarke and features a series of stunning designs that I recommend appreciating firsthand if you’re venturing into the City centre this Christmas.
This life sized advent calendar is just the beginning for St James’ though. For today they have also launched a digital version which will be opened daily on their Instagram (@stjameslondon).
Followers have the chance to win a range of unique gifts, curated by London Fashion Week, which include Champagne afternoon tea for two, a fitted Barbour jacket and a host of restaurant, art gallery and hotel pleasures. So it’s well worth keeping an Insta eye open on your morning commutes.
