Singleton Malt Master’s Selection Review
Less than a month ago our friends at Singleton released a brand new scotch to join the portfolio; The Singleton Malt Master’s Selection and we were lucky enough to be sent a bottle.
If you’re a scotch lover you’re probably familiar with Singleton’s 12-Year-Old but this new addition is a sweet take on that classic.
To create the whisky, Singleton’s Malt Master Craig Wilson personally selects casks from Singleton’s Dufftown Distillery library, located in the heart of the Speyside region greatest number of distilleries of any of the whisky-producing areas of Scotland.
The whisky is matured in a mixture of three casks; Bourbon, Refill and Sherry. The result is a smooth scotch.
Nose: Fresh fruits, hints of honey and vanilla.
Body: Light to medium
Palate: Delicate and Smooth
Finish: Medium with warmth, lingering vanilla and a sprinkle of white pepper.
If you’re looking for a simple summer twist combine 35ml of whisky with 140ml of Tonic, accompanied by a slice of orange. Delicious and refreshing.
The Singleton Malt Master’s Selection is available for RRP £30.00 and comes with the recommendations of The Dapper Chapper team.
