To celebrate World Whisky day last month, Dapper Chapper visited newly opened Barbacoa Picadilly. The restaurant hosted a whisky and steak pairing evening in the beautiful Rose Gray private dining room. The perfect setting for such an event. With over 140 whiskies on offer there is certainly something for the connoisseur. Guests were treated to 5 courses expertly paired with a different whisky to maximize flavour.
The whisky collection features rare single malts from closed distilleries and bourbon that you can’t even get in the states. The experience gave us guest a full range of experiences plus trying the best of what Barbecoa has to offer. My favorite being the Sticky Creole Ribs paired with GLENDALOUGH 7YO, Irish Single Malt.

Fathers Day – Steak and Whisky Pairing Menu
Due to popular demand, Barbecoa will be running a special steak and whisky pairing menu to celebrate Father’s Day. Join Barbecoa Piccadilly on 17th or 18th June and treat your dad to a top steak and whisky pairing treat. The menu starts off with a range of whisky cocktails and nibbles followed by 4 delicious individual courses and accompanying whisky-based drinks from our 140-strong whisky collection. Bookings can be made either for lunch or dinner time and cost £55/head– booking ahead is advised due to demand.
