The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride

By Michelle Connolly Friday 22nd Sep, 2017

Are you married to your motorbike? Resound with your ride? Succumb to your scrambler? On Sunday September 24th, one of the largest vintage bike rides in the world will be taking place across over 600 cities in 95 countries worldwide, and in the name of Movember we’re inviting you to take part.

More than 70,000 willing gents will be lending their rears to this unprecedented event in order to benefit research and treatment into prostate cancer and men’s health. We’re calling on anyone with a vintage bike, racer, boobler, scrambler or any other customised model to take part in The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride.

Funds raised will ensure continued research and support for essential programs that look after mental health and wellbeing for men like ourselves, as well as a platform to discuss and openly chat about these issues.

To date, more than $8million has been raised since it’s institution by Australian Mark Hawwa, and we’re hoping to smash records. We’ve teamed up with Zenith Watches to help them build a team to break all records – they are participating as a sponsor for the second year running, and are marking the occasion with six limited-edition watches – one of which will be donated to a lucky team member. While five of the coveted timepieces will be given to sponsors, one of the other riders among Team Zenith will be awarded the special ‘Number 0’ model.

So get cracking and sign up via https://www.gentlemansride.com/team/zenithwatches to be in with a chance to get your hands on the coveted timepiece as well as r aise money for a genuinely worthy cause. Ride on, chaps!
