Chappers, it will come as no surprise to you that we are extremely proud to be British, however sometimes we like to take inspiration from across the pond; an example being this wonderful American cocktail, The Gentleman’s Sour…

This is a cocktail that originates from 1862 and a drink that is still in lexicon of every cocktail bartender.

Whether you’ve had an action-packed weekend or one spent predominantly on the sofa, this is a great cocktail to ease the transition from weekend to working week.

What Ingredients Do You Need?

50ml Jack Daniel’s Gentleman Jack

25ml Lemon Juice

20ml Sugar Syrup

A dash of bitters

Cubed ice

Lemon slice garnish

How To Make It?

  • Combine all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker together with ice
  • Strain into a tumbler filled with cubed ice
  • Garnish with a slice of fresh lemon and serve

Cocktail in hand, it’s time for you to sit back, mellow out, and enjoy the final few hours of your weekend.
