Blogger’s Breakfast at The Hospital Club with The Dapper Chapper and Mode

By Michelle Connolly Monday 18th Jan, 2016

After two full-on days at LC:M, Sunday was the perfect time to introduce a welcome interlude in the form of our Bloggers Breakfast with The Dapper Chapper and Mode Media. In the beautiful surroundings of the Hospital Club Covent Garden, right at the heart of the action, a delicious spread was laid out for the guests. Smooth coffee, teas and champagne refreshed attendees as they enjoy smoked salmon mini-bagels, rich Greek yoghurt with winter berry compote, fresh fruit skewers and more.

It was the ideal place for everyone to share their experiences of the weekend so far, discuss upcoming shows and check out the fashion on show right there. Chris Millington worked a GANT slim tie and dark tailoring, and there were strong looks from stylist @CharleyVanPurpz and Sikh and Dread whose extremely dapper mini-me absolutely stole the show. Adam Walker aka @malestylist brought some excellent tailoring to the fore, as did Oli @thetailorfitted with a stunning maroon bag and jacket.

Sikh and Dread’s patterned jacket went down very well, as did The Idle Man Josh Milton’s full camel coat. Great representation from Daniel Rhone and Craig McGinley with some classic styling choices, and David J Constable’s fedora gathered more than a few compliments. Representing from Dapper Chapper were editor Adam Tanous, grooming editor Gary Dennis, venues editor Michelle Connolly, and of course our style editor Rashpal Amrit each bringing an individual look for the day – Rashpal @styleandstylus’ deep turquoise and black aesthetic proving very popular.

Many of the attendees also took part in the tie fighter challenge from our partner Mode – and if you think you can tie a double Windsor faster than 18 seconds, we’ll applaud you. Overall the morning was a great success, with a lot of thoughts and ideas shared with like minds, and a proper set up for another day of shows at LC:M. After all, breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
