To celebrate the launch of Dapper Chapper favourite Hakkasan’s new venture Ling Ling, opening this July in Mykonos, they’re launching a brand new limited edition menu bringing a taste of the island to the London restaurants. The three special menus will be available in Hakkasan Hanaway Place and Hakkasan Mayfair from 1st July-31st August, each accompanied by the refreshing Ling Ling Collins – a brand new grapefruit, elderflower and Jinzu gin cocktail that tastes as good as it sounds.
There’s a choice of three limited edition menus, either fish and seafood, meat and fish, or vegetarian. The fish and seafood menu includes a heavenly steamed dim sum platter of scallop shumai, Har gau and Chinese chive dumpling, accompanied by crispy aubergine and shitake salad, and sweet grilled Chilean seabass in honey.
On the meat menu, delight in Jasmine tea smoked organic pork ribs and spicy prawn with lily bulb and almond alongside the dumplings above, while vegetarians are spoilt with salt and pepper tofu and homemade pumpkin tofu, stir-fry black pepper vegetarian chicken with sugar snap and stir-fry baby broccoli to dine on. Wonderfully seasoned and perfectly cooked, each dish is an absolute treat.
The special menu at Hakkasan Hanway Place will be priced at £35 per person, and lunch will be available Monday to Saturday from Midday to 3.30pm, while dinner is served Monday to Friday from 5.30pm to 6.30pm and 10.30pm to12.30am, and on Sunday from 5.30pm to 6.30pm and 10pm to 12.15am
With the additional choice of champagne, the Hakkasan Mayfair is priced at £45 per person and lunch is available Monday to Saturday from Midday to 6.15pm while dinner is Sunday to Thursday from 11pm to 12.30am, and on Friday and Saturday from 11.30pm to 1.30am.
Known worldwide for it’s modern approach to Cantonese cuisine, Ling Ling is a new concept restaurant inspired by izakaya – matching food and drinks in an informal, casual setting that’s perfect for island living. Located in the heart of Mykonos, its the perfect setting for an evening of enjoyment, either in an open-air restaurant and bar, private dining room, or the lounge. Small plates give guests the chance to explore the menu, sharing and tasting the unique Cantonese dishes.

Sound design mastered and perfected by Hakkasan London resident DJ, Pathaan brings eclectic, high-energy beats to the island and its late night party scene – a party that can’t be missed. While Dapper Chapper won’t have the opportunity to head out to the Mykonos venue in person just yet, at least we can enjoy the delights of Ling Ling closer to home for now.
