By Adam Tuesday 16th Oct, 2018

Calling all art lovers… This week, St James’s and Wallpaper* have teamed up to create the St James’s Contemporary Art and Design Walk.

The walk, which starts at world-renowned art institution, Christie’s, will take you on a journey through nine galleries within the St James’s area.

It’s all curated by the Commissioning Editor of Wallpaper* and takes you to venues including the Stern Pissarro and Thomas Dane. You’ll learn about everything from Anni Albers’ pioneering wall hangings at Alan Cristea, to José Yaque’s ‘Kind of Blue’ collection at David Gill, whilst exploring the origin of colour.

The galleries that you’ll visit include Alan Cristea Gallery, Christie’s, David Gill Gallery, Institute of Contemporary Arts, Sims Reed, Stern Pissarro, Thomas Dane Gallery, and White Cube.

The walk is free and starts at Christie’s on King’s Street at 6.30pm Wednesday 17th or 11 am & then 12 pm on Saturday 20th October.
