RON DORRF CONTINUES EVOLUTION INTO SS22
It has been a while since we laid eyes on sports lifestyle brand Ron Dorff, but following recent site of their latest SS22 collection we were, as ever impressed with the brands fusion of retro classics with new-wave athleisure.
Launched more than 10 years ago, the brand, which combines those timeless Swedish clean lines and architecture with a little French Savoir Faire, has evolved from its gym and sportswear beginnings to presenting beautiful, body-fitting clothing including the extremely popular Pure Sports cashmere collection. Pieces easily worn at home, at work, or casually on the street.
“The new collection for SS22 focusses on the ‘Gentleman Player’ as a central theme,” says owner Claus Lindorff. “Taking inspiration from iconic silhouettes seen in the early 80s at Flushing Meadows, Roland Garros and Wimbledon, we have upgraded and revisited to create chic urban wear. The theme incorporates fresh colours like Klein Blue, Grassy Green and Racing Red in addition to the classic navy, white and black.”
In addition, the loungewear collection captures the same codes and colours, integrating new seasonal retro styles such as the Sports Y-Front Briefs, Bi-Colored Tank Tops and T-Shirts with contrasting details.
Ron Dorff, which combines its strong online business with its stores in London, Paris, Berlin and New York, has predominantly been recognised for its underwear and swimwear products, that now takes a shift to include a huge collection of more than 200 pieces that takes in T-shirts, polos, shorts, cashmere loungewear, tailored/relaxed pants and sneakers.
