Ernest Supplies Cooling Shave Cream Review

Every now and again, a product comes along that changes up your grooming regime. For a long time now, myself and others here at Dapper Chapper have been using shave creams or soaps, frothed up into a lather with a shave brush. There’s no denying this makes for a luxurious, close shave, but it does come with some drawbacks.

Having been using the Ernest Supplies Cooling Shave Cream every other day for the last couple weeks, I can say that this is up there with some of my favourite shaving products. There’s a gentle aroma and the minute you apply this and wash off any excess from your hands, you’ll notice how lubricating this product really is.

It leaves a cooling, well lubricated barrier on your skin, but doesn’t lather up, so you can easily see what you’re doing and avoids clogging your razor up.

Ernest Supplies have included a huge number of natural oils in this, and the result is a shave without razor burn or any redness.

From time to time I’ll still use other shave creams or soaps with a brush in the future, perhaps with pre-shave oil too for that extra touch, but when you need to clean up your appearance in a pinch, Ernest Supplies Cooling Shave Cream is the way to go. Lovely stuff.
