One aspect of Christmas that I truly love, is sharing those special moments and creating everlasting memories with friends and family. OK, I admit it, I’m a bit of a romanticist when it comes to Christmas but the idea of a room filled with happy people, surrounded by positivity and rather a lot of alcohol, is one that’s close to perfection for me.
I’m sure you’ll agree that the magic of Christmas comes from it only happening once a year, so there always exists an anticipation and hype in the build up to the day itself.
Good things come to those who wait.
Just like we wait for the Christmas period to kick off in all its glory, those at Bacardi must wait for their Añejo Cuatro rum to age in barrels over a four year period under the Caribbean sun. Yet as they rightly say, It’s time well spent, as it produces the best quality rum, just like it’s always time well spent celebrating Christmas with those closest to you.
The Añejo Cuatro itself offers notes of mild vanilla, toasted oak, clove and honey and provides a drinking experience as smooth as velvet. It’s aroma and flavour combined have the power to transport you to the Caribbean, and experience a perfect summer’s evening in a glass.
Admittedly, it may not be the right time to enjoy such a drink, this drink could act as a light at the end of the tunnel, given it’s beautiful golden glow, for those bleak winter months, when the thought of spending Christmas with friends and family is but a distant memory.
