Universal Roots, Universal Family

We’ve been excited to see the next instalment from Universal Works for some time, as have many of you no doubt.
The title for their latest collection is “Universal Roots, Universal Family” which refers to collective spirit enhanced over the past 18-months, where things have been, shall we say, less straight forward. In particular it pays homage to the brand’s ‘circle of trust’ which has been garnered during this period, from suppliers and agents through to friends and customers from all across the globe who, together have helped to create an ‘international family’.
Autumn/Winter 21 is all about engineering harmony with garment dyed wovens, sweats, printed camo, Harris Tweeds as well as soft Japanese brushed wools, herringbone denims, woollen twills, practical English corduroy and Nottingham-made knits.
These garments are for wearing every day, made with cloth that’s been specifically chosen to age well as well as being easy to care for. The silhouettes stay true to the tried and tested framework, blending seamlessly from season-to-season – a textured modern utilitarian uniform that takes the stress out of dressing and the perfect solution for a new way of living!
Take a look, we’re sure you’ll be as impressed as we are. www.universalworks.co.uk
